Client: Aspire

The Khalifa International Stadium hosted the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Qatar E-Sports WEGA Global Games on 16th January 2020 at 8 PM.

The event honored fans and players with invitations to the Grand Ceremony to celebrate E-Sports and live the passion of gaming. The ceremony compiled a schedule of performances based on gaming categories such as CSGo, DOTA, Street Fighter and PES2020 among some while immersing the audience in a range of mesmerizing visuals on the big screen.

2017 Britain’s Got Talent winner and multi-instrument producer Tokio Myers made an appearance on stage and presented the audience with a beautiful 25-minute concert. The event also included photo opportunity area showcasing all games for fans. All of this was planned, produced and managed by the Planners team.

Client: QMA & FTA

FTA is a non-profit initiative aimed at finding, funding and supporting design talents from the Arab world, giving them a platform and opportunity to build their brands and achieve their full potential on a global level. A jury of fashion industry leaders fromacross the world gathered in Doha to select the five winners out of 25 finalists.

The Planners were contracted by Qatar Museums Authority (QMA) and Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) to organize their inaugural award ceremony and gala dinner at Doha Fire Station along with the designers exhibition and judging area at the Bin JalmoodHouse at MsheirebMuseums, the event took place from 26th to 28th of March 2019 and was attended by more than 400 guests that included H.H. SheikhaMoza, H.E. SheikhaMayassa, Co-Chair of FTA and world-renowned celebrities.

The set-up in gala dinner was beautifully designed and built keeping fashion theme in mind, from its unique entrance to surrounding light structures and Arabesque style panels including branded flooring and giant honeycomb shape inspired stage backdrop. Thedesigner’s exhibition area was also designed following the same honeycomb theme ( hexagon shape ) yet keeping it simple to highlight the designer’s work and designs.

Place Vendome – Video Reel

On April 7, 2017, the Museum of Islamic Art and Place VendômeQatar played host to the launch party of the twenty-second edition of Vogue in Doha, Qatar. Editor-in-Chief Deena AljuhaniAbdulazizand team Vogue Arabia celebrated with global colleagues from Condé Nast International, including Chairman and CEO Jonathan Newhouse, longstanding company president Sir Nicholas Coleridge, and International Editor Suzy Menkes, along with Naomi Campbell, Farida Khelfa, designer ZuhairMurad, Peter Dundas, Olivier Theyskens, Manish Arora, Noor Fares, Elie Saab Jr., DelfinaDeletrezFendi, Angelica Cheung and many others.

The event took place in the Museum of Islamic Arts and was planned, managed and successfully executed by The Planners. The launch moment had artistic/customized video mapping on the façade of the museum synchronized with led candles, mirror themed fashion set-up with a touch of Qatari tradition at the entrance and a live concert by renowned singer Lauryn Hill..

Client: United Development Company

On the occasion of Qatar’s National Day celebrations at The Pearl, United Development Company had contracted The Planners to plan, organize and manage their entire event starting from 16th -20th December 2015.

The event included a successful execution of elements such as a water screen with a customized QNDvideo, fireworks on the 18th of December , decorative lighting on all the tress of The Pearl , Sky trackers on the main roundabout,traditional VIP tent withtraditional coffee servings, 15 traditional tents serving freshly cooked food creating a souqlook and feel in the area along with providing a taste of traditional Qatari food for all visitors along with aspecial tent for ladies to enjoy henna, a customized booth located at MadinaCentral serving freshly made Karaktea, live Ardhaperformances, stage with LED backdrop playing QNDvideos.

Our services also included providing Qatar flags and pins as souvenirs to visitors and customized VIP gifts for UDC’sspecial guests.

Client: Qatar Tennis Federation

During the ExxonMobil and Total Open Tennis Tournament, The Planners have designed, produced and managed a customized tennis fan zone dedicated for children and adults attending the tournament. For both the years, the fan zone was designed keeping the spirit of tennis in mind and with the motive to provide visitors with afun-filled experience.

The area includes 2 customized giant entrance arch and a series of tennis-themed activities especially designed for QTFfan zone such as: tennis speed radar, target wall, mini tennis golf, tennis pong, reaction wall, through the racket, Batak wall, tennis bowling, tetherball, accuracy target shot etc, along with these activities the area also includes foam pit, bungee trampoline, giant inflatables, craft, and coloring area.

The area is open for all public village visitors throughout the tournament and provides them with an end number of options to play, learn and enjoy. The Planners have planned, managed, produced and handled the fan zone for both 2017 and 2018 tournaments.

Client: Qatar Petroleum

Qatar Petroleum (QP) celebrated the National Sports Day by holding a series of activities for QPemployees and their families to highlight the prime importance of an active and healthy lifestyle. Around 6,000 staff members and their families took part inthe annual event, led by QPPresident and CEO Saad SheridaAl Kaabiwith the participation of the company’s vice presidents and senior officials.

The event involved a football and volleyball tournaments, table tennis, tug-of-war, a military-style obstacle course, human foosball, a series of challenger games, children’s area and a walking marathon. Children of all ages also had lots of fun as they played various games, including penalty shootouts, free-throw shooting, a spoon race and sack race, sumo wrestling, as well as an inflatable climbing wall.

There were also on-stage activities, such as an aerobics class as well as a jump rope demonstration and workshop. The Planners were in charge of the management of all functional areas as sports activities, keeping the event on track and seamless for all attendees, including registration, catering distribution, on-stage schedule and VIP area and tours.

Client: Tarsheed

Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa), represented by the National Program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency (Tarsheed), hosted the third editions of its yearly TarsheedCarnival events at iconic KahramaaAwareness Park (KAP).

The event is one of the important environmental awareness events being organized in Qatar where both public and private sectors aspire and act together to protect the precious environment and to help achieve Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030.ThePlanners were contracted to plan, manage and execute this 10 days event and were responsible for overall designing, and producing of the entire carnival setup, logistics, operations, and guest management. The event was attended by VVIP’sand had more than 13000 visitors.

The set-up included customized booths for sponsors and partners, VIP Area, food court, several fun/learning activities, interactive sessions, theatre performances and competitions based on conservation and energy efficiency theme, catering to all segments of the society.
