Fan Engagement Through Immersive Activations
Hosted at Doha’s iconic Stadium 974, Match for Hope 2025 united legendary footballers and international creators for a friendly yet purposeful game, drawing global attention and charitable support.
To build momentum ahead of the match, The Planners designed and executed a dynamic Fan Zone—a vibrant, branded environment engineered for interaction and entertainment. The space featured custom-designed interactive games including foot golf, foot pool, mini football, skee-ball, and a target wall, fostering playful competition and all-ages engagement.
Complementing the activity zones was a curated selection of food vendors, offering a diverse range of flavors and bites for attendees of all ages. A dedicated cultural tent added regional flair through traditional experiences such as henna art and falconry, while roaming performers energized the crowd throughout the day. Every element of the Fan Zone was developed to accommodate high footfall, reflect the event’s global relevance, and create an inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere.
A Gala Evening with Impact and Elegance
On the night before the match, The Planners set up and managed the exclusive Match for Hope Gala Dinner at the world-renowned Museum of Islamic Art in Doha. The evening unfolded against a striking architectural backdrop enhanced by ambient lighting, a bespoke DJ set, and a bold projection of the event’s identity on the museum’s façade.
The experience was elevated by a refined spatial layout, a seamless RSVP-to-check-in journey, and a premium dining experience catered by Sushi Club, with a menu crafted under the culinary direction of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, internationally celebrated for his Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine.
The evening welcomed football greats such as Thierry Henry, David Silva, and Andrés Iniesta, alongside major digital creators like KSI, AboFlah, and Chunkz. More than a dinner, it was a gathering that honored the spirit of sport, creativity, and giving back.
