As part of the World Aquatics Championships and Masters Championships – Doha 2024, The Planners brought the Aqua Market Fan Zone to life from February 2 to 18, 2024, in front of Aspire Dome. Commissioned by the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), this vibrant activation was designed to enrich the spectator experience through a family-friendly market celebrating Qatari marine heritage and culture.
The Planners managed the project end-to-end—handling logistics, vendor procurement, branding, AV setup, installations, and on-ground coordination. The immersive setup included themed tents, kiosks, and entertainment zones. Visitors enjoyed everything from VR games and electronic puzzles to cultural touchpoints like henna art, net weaving, traditional boat carving, and live Regag cooking. A dedicated aquatic museum, interactive stage shows, roaming performers, and shaded majlis areas rounded out the guest experience, blending entertainment with education and local pride.
