WEGAE-Games World Championship Opening Ceremony

The Khalifa International Stadium hosted the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Qatar E-Sports WEGA Global Games on 16th January 2020 at 8PM. The event honored fans and players with invitations to the Grand Ceremony to celebrate E-Sports and live the passion of gaming. The ceremony compiled a schedule of performances based on gaming categories such as CSGo, DOTA, Street Fighter and PES2020 among some while immersing the audience in a range of mesmerizing visuals on the big screen. 2017 Britain’s Got Talent winner and multi-instrument producer Tokio Myers made an appearance on stage and presented the audience with a beautiful 25-minute concert. The event also included photo opportunity area showcasing all games for fans. All of this was planned, produced and managed by the Planners team.
